Though oddly enough, the 11 is out of stock/backordered a lot more than the 12.9 is. 12.9s are easy to get, but I've seen 11 backorders from one week to one month. So I wonder which one is really more popular. I would think the 11.

I think a lot of people were like me. I was holding out to see what the update to the Air brought. The Air now has ALMOST everything I want, and for whatever reason I thought there was a chance Apple would put the ProMotion display in it this year. They didn't, so I ordered an 11" Pro yesterday. As I was thinking things over Amazon went from being able to deliver in 2 days to into April in about an hour. I'm not interested in the 12.9" as I'm more interested in the portability the 11" offers. Anyone who was interested in the 11" knew the Air update was around the corner and waited, while those who wanted the 12.9" had no reason to wait.

B&H Photo has 11s last time I looked a week ago. They were about the only one. B&H's stock is amazing.

Oh, Costco's website has them too. Mine is coming tomorrow. Thanks for the pointer though, I'll have to remember to check them out next time.
