Dont know what hard drive to upgrade to on old mac mini?

I've upgrade my mac mini intel chip from the T2300 to the T2600. Now I want to start my mac mini fresh by upgrading to a new hard drive. My mac mini was the 1.66 Ghz model, what hard drive can I use? Is it the 2.5" SATA? If yes can it be any 2.5" SATA?

Yes, any 2.5" SATA drive with maximum height of 9.5mm should work.

Recommend WD 500gb BLACK or the Hybrid Seagate 500gb drive. Those two are the fastest notebook mechanical hard drives out right now. If you got cash to blow, Intel's 160gb G2 SSD should do the trick.

You can put the 12.5mm 1TB Scorpio Blue WD10TPVT in there if you're willing to clip the plastic off of one one corner of the drive.
