Hello folks,

While using iOS12 I totally dimmed my phone to the lowest setting and then after I automatically locked it by pressing the power on button, afterwards I couldn’t see a thing, and was not able to access my iPhone, the screen was totally black to the point I had to do a force reset by pressing the volume up, down and then hold the power button until the apple logo came on, luckily I was able to then regain access, this is a huge bug on the iOS 12 beta they need to fix.

Have you reported this to Apple as a bug?

yes this is very annoying. I had to turn off auto dim because of this.... It kept happening to me and I couldn't figure out why.

I keep trying to duplicate this on my X and it never happens. Weird how bugs can affect one person and not another.

I know this is a bit late for OP but you could have used Siri to turn up brightness.

I reported that first day, beta 4 was horrible it seems to be getting worse i went back to 11.4.1 i also found beta 4 on the X to be mega hot
