Doom 3 (Mac) No picture problem!!!!

I have recently purchased Doom 3 and when i try to run it there is no picture! Starting from the game start-up screen. But there is sound. Please help me!

Did you patch the game to the latest version? Are you using an Intel mac?

Yeah, you probably need to download the patch. Doom 3 runs fine on my iMac that's running Snow Leopard.

Also, it would help if you posted the Mac you are running it on and the Mac OS X version.
