Dose Coolbook work on the Rev. C

Hi guys, just found Coolbook in my utilities folder and gave it another go!

I turned throttling off and set it just to 1.56Ghz on my 1.6 revison b.

Well that seems to have been a good solution to my bbc hd viewing STUTTERING!

So just wondering if the new 2.13 is Throttled too!? And would their be even more performance boast with Coolbook installed and activated!

I now feel satisfied that I can squeeze every last bit of performance out of my air, at a cost to battery life.

P.S Dose anyone know if re-setting the voltage to the lower 9.25 has any lasting side effects on the chip/system.

The 2.13 is also throttled. I also use coolbook to limit how many steps for throttling . Not sure if there is lasting side effects but not enough voltage causes immediate kernel panic.

Before removing the throttling! HD flash just wouldn't play without major stuttering when connected to my 24" led display. Now its smooth as butter!

There should be other threads that talk about good settings but usually I put the lowest possible (like 1.2ghz but I don't do b/2 to even lower ghz, as that makes the machine a bit too slow, but rev C wouldn't let you do that anyway somehow) with 0.925v and put the highest clock speed (rev A@1.8ghz:1v, rev C@2.13ghz:1.025v), so things are steady when cpu power is not required and uses full power when necessary. Keep the throttling level to 'Medium' as 'Low' really wouldn't throttle often enough.

Imo, if you put too much throttling levels, it may take a while to get to full power (maybe unless you set the level to 'High' and above but these really keeps changing the throttling very often) causing a few seconds of HD vid stutters and what not at start, so I just do it simple by 1 low ghz and 1 high ghz.

And I usually keep the same for battery but that's because I usually work where there's a power. I would stick with the low ghz only if I want the best battery.

i dident find any threads about the specific rev c coolbook settings but thanks for the replay.

could you please post your fully settings on both adapter and battery, i feel like a newbie on this.
