10.5" iPad Pro w iOS 11.1, I have "keep normal photo" shut off, so why do two images of the same shot show in Photos App on my iMac in OS X 10.12.6 when my iPad Pro is cabled to my iMac?

double pictures w "keep normal photos" shut off

When one edits a shot in Photos iOS 11, a low res edited version and the original hi res remain. These previous two are separate from taking an HDR shot, and keeping the normal exposure as well.
