Double sound when receiving new text message

It seems that whenever I'm in the SMS app and receive a new text message, two sounds play which I've traced to the ReceivedMessage.caf and sms-receive#.caf that is selected in the settings. Does anyone know how I can disable the ReceivedMessage.caf? I suppose I could make an empty audio file and theme it but wasn't sure if there was a setting I was missing somewhere.

is it in the same directory as the normal ones?

is it a different noise.... just rename it like whack a character before it so its still there if u need it and see of that stops it doing it.
