downgrade 3.0.1 to 2.2.2 iPhone 2G 8GB.

I got myself a first generation iPhone, upgraded to 3.1.

Now - I want to downgrade to 2.2.2 to hackivate it. How do I do this?

That doesn't help. becasue I still don't know how to downgrade the OS.

First, I don't recall 2.2.2 ever existing. But if you're looking for 2.2.1 this might help.

Second, a simple Google search for "download iphone 2.2.1" got me this as the 4th result.
