Alright, here's my situation. I've been happily using my iPhone 3G for the past 18 months. Finally decided to JB this past weekend, after, of course, upgrading to 3.1.2. I recall being able to tether at some point in the past, then lost that with one of the upgrades that I dutifully applied, thinking I was being a loyal iPhone user.
Now I'd like to be able to downgrade to an earlier firmware version, if I can do that, in order to regain the ability to tether, either with the cable, or via BT.
Where can I find earlier firmware versions. Is it possible to downgrade? How do I go about running such a patch?
After running blackra1n, and installing several apps/patches from Cydia, I am very pleased with the result.
Any help appreciated. Thanks
