Downgrade back to Mavericks

Im running the yosemite beta and i have a full backup of mavericks on time machine. Can someone just run me through the steps?

Plug in your TM disk then option key boot to it. That will get you to a recovery screen. Then start Disk Util and select the drive itself at the very top of the left column and go to the erase tab. Then select Mac OS Extended (Journaled) in the drop down and apply the change. Then quit DU and click restore and wait.
