Downgrade from 3.1 to get tethering back

I have a Jailbroken 3G on 3.1. I just updated to the new carrier update, and now tethering is gone, and I can't figure out how to fix it. I tried installing other ipcc files, and I tried the sinfuliphone download. What I want to know is: if I downgrade back to 3.0, will I get tethering back (the one in the iPhones settings to be clear)

Just do a quick search through he threads here and you'll find the procedures you're looking for. Yu can do it as long as you're not on a 3GS.
