Hi. I want to downgrade my iPhone from iOs 6.0.1 to 5.1.1. I go to iTunes and Shift + click restore button and choose ios 5.1.1 file but it gives an error. Any help would be appreciated.

If you didn't hook up your phone when it had 5.1.1 on it and save your SHSH blobs then this won't work. SHSH blobs are specific to devices so it's not like someone can send you theirs as it won't work.

Thanks a lot :) fortunately, I used cydia when I was on iOs 5.1.1 so I guess it saved my shsh on cydia server. right? Just read it on the guide

What permission? As far as I know, Cydia automatically saves them.
Everytime you jailbreak a new device and start Cydia for the first time, it asks if you want to "make your life easier". Answering 'yes' will give Cydia a permission to save them automatically.

At least this was still persisent when I got my iPhone 4.

Before you go any further you need to tell us what model iphone you have.
They're not all the same.
Even with shsh blobs currently you cannot downgrade an iphone 4S from ios 6.0 or 6.0.1
With an iphone 3GS and iphone 4 you can downgrade but only with shsh blobs saved for the firmware version you're trying to downgrade to.
