iPod Downgrade iPod 160gb classis FW from 1.1.2 to 1.0.3

Any help would be much appreciated. I have searched high and low and need some advice. I have an iPod interface installed in my car and I am not able to control it from the head unit with re FW 1.1.2. I have searched everywhere for help on downgrading the firmware. I tried last night but it didn't work. Where can I find the right firmware and do I need to downgrade to iTunes 7.7? Thanks.

Which interface do you have? I'm gonna guess the Eclipse IP-106 since I have read a ton of similar posts elsewhere.
