I fixed this by creating a profile. After that, tabs were showing up correctly (Version 17.0 (18616.1.24.11.5, 18616))So the only way was to reinstall the whole OS? I stupidly tried the beta and tab groups are absolutely broken (this should not happen on a public beta, it's a main feature!!). Anyway, if the only way to go back is to reinstall the OS, then I think I will have to stick with this version of Safari until a new update.
Thanks this worked for me. I was trying to download the Safari Tech Preview and I guess I was distracted and downloaded the BETA. Thanks again.Happily solved everything downloading MacOS Ventura installer from the App Store and installing it on top of my Ventura OS. It got rid of Safari beta and of the duplicated Safari instances.
Maybe this can help someone with the same issue/need.
If you haven't fixed this by now, it took around 20 minutes start to finish. So the only way was to reinstall the whole OS?
