i've done some research on the internet to find out how to correct either of the error messages and found nothing for the first message about the passcode. however, i have found some stuff on the second error message and from what i've read believe i have to downgrade my firmware back to 1.1.1
i've tried to follow the instructions i found but have run an issue talking to my iphone via SSH using PuTTY. Whenever i enter what i believe is my wi-fi IP address i get the following message:
PuTTY Fatal Error, Network error: Connection refused
I'm not sure what i'm doing wrong - maybe i've got the wrong ip address? (but i don't think so) and the thing is i can't get it from the iphone since it's locked - i'm hoping somebody on this site would be able to help me
As an FYI, i should let you know i'm not in the states, i'm in Toronto, so my phone is not on AT & T's network, it's with Rogers Wireless
Any help anyone could give me would be great as at this point i'm confused about what i should do next
