Hi folks, I have been having one hell of a time trying to downgrade to 2.2.1 from 2.30. Even after upgrading to Mac OS 10.5.7, I still can't get my computer to recognize my iphone (after using PwnageTool) and eventually just resorted to a full system restore back to my last backup which was the 2.2.1 firmware.

An idea popped up admist all these troubles and wanted to run it by you. I regularly backup my MacBook Pro using Time Machine and was thinking that I could revert back to an earlier date (before I stupidly installed 2.30), open up iTunes and restore to my 2.2.0 firmware.

anything I overlooked?

Interesting idea, I would be impressed if it did work, but I cant think of a reason why it wouldn't.

Are you talking about baseband or firmware? 2.3 hasn't been out yet and I don't think it ever will.
