Hey ;

I want to downgrade to ios 8.4 , I know how to downgrade but the problem is with back up.

I want the app data to personal data to be transferred back to my phone. I have backed up my phone while using ios 9. So the question here if I downgrade to ios 8.4 , will I be able to use my back up file to restore my data back or it will cause problem that it is ios 9 ?

Ayn help or somebody did that ?

Thnx

Your phone will not accept the backup you made while on iOS 9. You'll receive an alert saying the software is too old or something along that line. Any data you created after you updated will be lost until you update again.

If you've been running iOS 9 for more than a day, your standard iCloud or iTunes backup will likely be iOS 9-based and won't restore to an iOS 8.4 device.
