I really hate the new Podcast app that Apple created. There doesn't seem to be any good 3rd party apps either. I really liked the old interface that iTunes had. Is there any way to get it on my computer?

MacOS Catalina.

Thank you so much!

I asked in Apple support communities, and they said flat out "NO".
Then I posted a link to Retroactive, and they instantly deleted it.

F*ck Apple trying to control how I use my computer.

I agree with what you are saying but what we share here should stay here as Apple can now figure out how that app works and may figure out how to block that app from working in future updates if you ever need to reinstall iTunes or iPhoto if you use it

I really hate Apple sometimes. They could just say "we don't support that". But instead they go out of their way to block you from making YOUR device more productive to you.

They also censor any criticisms of their products/company. Apple is like the communist China of tech companies.

...wait, you're saying Apple deciding what people are allowed to post on their own site is equivalent to Communist censoring?

No. Since when is "like" synonymous to "equivalent"?

Apple takes sanitization of their discussions to a whole new scary level. I'm sorry if you can't comprehend that.

...you mean they pick and choose what people are allowed to post on their own site?

For your comparison to work, wouldn't this entire site have already been sued by Apple?

It's super weird that you're bringing communist China into this, it's almost as if you have an issue with China, too.

LOL "as if I have an issue". You're funny.

Sued? What?
My point is that rather than facing problems/complaints/criticism, they simply erase them and deny they exist. I don't know any other companies that do that. Most will at least give a cookie cutter "we're sorry you're having issues... " response.

I get that you're a devout Apple sycophant. Do whatever makes you happy. But since you're just here to be a keyboard gladiator and not really add anything to the topic, you can go now.

Best of luck with your podcast problem.

I just posted this in another thread but it is relevant here. This is one of the reasons I forked my itunes library. I run Music for music and iTunes for podcasts and internet radio. And both these apps can use Airplay speakers and be controlled via their dock icon or the iOS remote app.
