Today I received my new Mac mini M2 Pro, installed with Sonoma.
Later, I was given the option to upgrade to Sequoia 15.0.1. which I did.
But I don't want this and want to go back to Ventura, which I have a backup of.
Made a bootable Ventura stick through the usual way and using Terminal.
But when installing, I get the message that I cannot install an older version, in this case Ventura, on the Hard disk.
My question to you is, is there anyway to install it?
Thank you very much in advance for your response.

Boot of the memory stick, wipe the disk and try again. You can't install an older OS over the top of a newer one.

Boot with bootable stick (Ventura installer) that you already had. On setup screen, select tools -> disk utility -> erase the biggest partition on mini’s SSD (don’t confuse with the stick drive). After that, quit disk utility and choose install, select the disk on the new erased disk.

I don’t recall precisely the menu name, so expect some difference.

Hope this helps.

It is not possible to boot from the memory stick with Ventura on it.
