I have a powerPC imac set up to run "panther" I have upgraded through the years as necessary but found that "leopard" just didn't run that well on such an old computer. So I downgraded to "tiger" and found my self looking at a brand new computer freed from the bugs of "leopard". I found all my old data in a folder branded "previous systems" organized by the deleted accounts home folders. I moved all the data from the old folders to the new ones (i.e old documents folder content to new documents folder) created the lost accounts did the same there. I was even able to get my old "leopard" wallpaper.
BUT
There are still some problems
1
Every time I open Safari the start page loads for a bit then it "unexpectedly quits" on me
2
I have lost all my itunes playlists. Not the music just the playlists. How can I restore playlists from applications such as limewire and frostwire.
3
It appears that I have little to no space left on my hard drive even though I have deleted quite a few things. This inhibits me from downloading songs and videos. My back up drive is losing space rapidly
4
when I click "get mail" in the mail application a window pops up asking for my mail password when i put it in the window just pops back up again.
I have a POP account.
So that's it I could really use the help and would be much appreciated.-
