Downgrading from iOS 10 Public Beta 1 to 9.3.3?

Hi guys, I'm new here, but as it seems everyone is pretty helpful here.

Last week I installed the public beta of iOS 10 on my 5S. Some people told me that I can just Shift+Update to 9.3.2 without losing any data on my phone.

Now that 9.3.3 is out, I want to try that, but restoring the phone to that firmware would be so exhausting. Can I still do that? I mean, does it work when I downgrade to 9.3.3 by doing shift+update and showing 9.3.3 ipsw on iTunes?

You have to download the ipsw first. (So that it is an option to select when pressing option+click on Update.

Also remove the beta profile off the phone or device before you do this. (Otherwise you will keep seeing an iOS 10 beta update badge in the software update setting.

I already have the ipsw(9.3.3). Everything is already set up, the only question here is, if I will lose my data such as photos, music, apps & their data like Whatsapp for instance. Cause actually when you do shift+update instead of shift+restore they should remain, but I'm not sure, that's my question. Has someone done that before?

On a Mac it's Option key + clicking on Update. Not shift.

You should retain all the data. Though there have been people who have had messages disappear and the music app break (because it's still somehow hooked to the new version of the app)

It's been a long time since I've done it myself (way back with 9.1 beta to 9.0.2 release) nothing went wrong for me. But that was almost almost a year ago.

Thanks lagwagon. I'm using Windows, so on Windows it's with Shift.

I also read those comments somewhere but I really mind having a stabile system on my phone after downgrading that way.

I will eventually wait for other people to write their comments who had similar experience and afterwards try that method.
