So I'm getting the iPhone 6S and I will be giving my old 6 to my mother and she is not tech savy I need to remove the beta profile and the beta itself from the 6 before i give it to her thing is I upgraded it to the 9.1 public beta before i decided to this and now idk what to do downgrade wise. What is the best way to do this should i wait to get the public gm next wednesday and installing it on the phone or should I downgrade to 8.4.1 and update it OTA next wednesday? And if i do downgrade to 8.4.1 is there a way to do it where i dont lose 3 months worth of text and data since my last pre beta backup was before installing the beta? Please answer I could really use the help.

If you don't have a backup from 8.4.1, you won't be able to go back without losing data.

If you have an 8.4.1 backup, enter DFU mode or recovery mode, plug into iTunes, and click restore. You'll then be able to put your backup onto the device during the setup process.
I do not have a 8.4.1 backup only a 8.4 also if i do dfu mode does it just flat out erase the beta no extra steps?? or do i still have to download an 8.4 ipsw

Correct, DFU or recovery mode will install the .ipsw for you. An 8.4 backup should work as well. Just as long as the backup version isn't newer than the software you're running. (You can't put a backup from 9.0 onto 8.4.1, for example.)

I was thinking since its gonna install the latest update when i do a dfu restore could i just wait till the ios 9 public release comes out and use a more current backup then since itll be a ios 9.1 backup or does that not work since its a different version?
