i've got this ibook battery problem and if its because of 10.2.4 i want to try and downgrade. Does anyone know if you can do this without completely reloading 10.2? thanks

Just wait a few more weeks and 10.2.5 will be here. If 10.2.5 doesn't fix it then think about reloading 10.2.x. As far as I know the only way to do it is with a complete reinstall.

from what I know....

you can't downgrade without the install discs. I just had to do it because my new PowerMac wont keep the time in 10.2.4. So I'm back at 10.2.3 and I had to do a "install and archive" (or something called that) from the install disc.

Hope that helps.
