Hey all!

I am so hating my iphone right now because it won't run on wifi at all since upgrading to 3.1.2. (I already had my phone replaced 2x, restored, reset, restarted, etc., etc., etc. and nothing fixed the problem).

After reading multiple threads here and on Apple's page about others who are having the same problem since upgrading, I was hoping to downgrade to 3.0. At least until Apple gets their act together and admits that they screwed everyone with the software "upgrade". I have a warranty and don't want to mess it up.

To those who have downgraded by some means or another, is it possible to downgrade the OS without messing up your warranty? I heard the Apple store geeks/geniuses will know if you Jailbreak your phone and that will void your warranty.

Any suggestions on how to downgrade on the down-low? :apple:

Downgrading does not affect your warranty. Note however that if you have a 3GS and do not have your 3.0 ECID SHSH in file with Saurik you will not even be able to downgrade your phone.

Try the microwave trick:)

If you really wanted to be funny, you should wrote "the blender test." ;)

BTW, I tried the freezer test on a refurb I received that had no wifi (or intermittent wifi). It worked for about 20 minutes after I took it out of the freezer. So, it was obviously hardware related. I took it back to Apple and they replaced with no questions even asked.
