So I may downgrade to iOS 9.3.2, due to an issue in another thread, but had a important question.

So if I downgrade to 9.3.2 using the "check for update" method, it will keep my message history and all my apps right?

Thanks

Things may or may not break downgrading with this method. I believe doing this with iOS 10 causes issues for the Music app.

I am aware of this but it's not a big deal to me, just as long as I keep message history

I lost all my message history after downgrading to iOS 9.3.2. And upgrading back does not fix this issue. So it will almost certainly happen.

I have downgraded to 9.3.2 and have all my data.
Do you have 9.3.2 backup? Steps i took.
1. Backup 9.3.2 and copy it in safe folder so doesn't get overwrite.
2. Upgrade to is10

To downgrade.
1. Download ipsw 9.3.2
2. Put ph in dfu
3. Shift + restore, select 9.3.2 ipsw
4. Restore from iphone backup
5. Sync

So in short you should have 9.3.2 backup otherwise few people have claimed to lost message history.

I agree, the safest way to downgrade is to just use an older backup. Though you may lose some of your most recent data. Provided that's the case, seems like a choice between losing some messages, all of them, or none by staying on iOS 10.
