Resolved Download freezes when downloading from Mac App Store. Help?

I was downloading my first app from the Mac App Store today. As the download was approaching 100%, the app just freezes. The app was window tidy if that helps at all. Is there a fix to this problem? Thanks in advance!

EDIT: i probably should have tried restarting the computer before i posted here.... Sorry.
