I just downloaded the newest version of iTunes, version 10.1. I opened it, and I just got the "Welcome to iTunes" message, and none of my songs (1400+) are in my library. I do not have time to re-download every last song, and everything was fine before I downloaded the latest version. And, when I close iTunes, I get the "Saving iTunes library" message... I am very worried about this... Help?????????:mad::mad::mad:

I run a Windows XP desktop with a Pentium 4 processor

You can try uploading your previous iTunes library file.
Go into the iTunes folder, and it should be in there

Yes, but only a fraction of my songs remain in my "iTunes Music" folder. The rest? Nowhere to be found.

Interesting.. In a related topic my dad updated iTunes for His new iPad and lost majority of his apps he had installed for his previous iPod Touch...
Bug? :apple:

Yep.... I downloaded the new iTunes and lost some some. Luckily not to the extent as the OP. That would be enough to P/O me. Also it seems to repeat a lot of songs when I playback.
