So the download for Lion is about 4 Gigs and I was reading last night that for someone on DSL it would possible take about 7 hours to download Lion. Now the bad news for dial up users, the article said about 7 days to download. That seems like a very long time. I don't have DSL or cable internet in my area, but I do have a mobile broadband modem. Now I know that the mobile broadband is slower than DSL and cable but it's still a lot faster than dial up. Maybe my download might only take 3 days......
I hope those times that I read for the download are wrong or somewhat off. My thinking is that maybe Apple will relent and still offer Lion on DVD at the last minute. That would be a good thing.
