Hello,

I used to use an app to download videos from YouTube directly to my iPhone.
Except the developer has not updated the app in a long time.

I’m looking for an app that can do the same, mainly to download the videos to play offline. And suggestions?

Thanks!

You have to be extremely careful about apps that claim to download videos that are COPYRIGHTED. This activity is illegal (at least, for the most part), and the creators who are behind such apps surely cannot be trusted.

Can you walk me through how to use this workflow? I can’t seem to get it started.
1. Download Workflow app
2. Add this youtube workflow (tap on this link): https://workflow.is/workflows/bb1d0a0312c94e9c85fda07c34e3fcce
3. If is added, then copy a youtube video link to clipboard (download copyright-protected video not working!!).
4. open the youtube un the worklfow and tap on play button.
5. now the download is started.
6. if is done. can you exporting the video e.g in a file explorer app (documents 6, filemanager etc..)
