Hello!
I am helping a retired person (84 years old) with his MacBook Pro. Today he wants me to upgrade from Yosemite to El Capitan. I want to already download the upgrade on my Macbook before going to his house as he has a very slow internet connection. How can I download the El Capitan upgrade to move it with a USB Stick and install it on different machines?

Thanks.

Yeah but then it installs the operation system completely new not upgrading while keeping old documents, photos etc?
[doublepost=1456476616][/doublepost]I try this: http://www.makeuseof.com/tag/install-os-x-yosemite-save-installer/

I hope it is ok with apple id and language files (both machines are German anyway)
That process you linked will still work for El Capitan. You can just copy the installer to a USB key, then drag it over to his /Applications folder and launch it to do the upgrade.
