Downloaded IPSW from developer portal, being told by iTunes that my firmware is incompatible?

Hey, I have a developer account and got the IPSW from it. I'm trying to restore using this IPSW and iTunes gives me an error saying the IPSW firmware is incompatible with my iPhone. Im definitely selection the 6S file online, so I don't know why its giving an error?

Has anyone had this, or know a work around? Thanks!

Same here. iPad worked. Used OTA for iPhone 6s.

Yep. The file is damaged I assume.

That’s what I tried in the first place. It threw the error. Then iTunes did. So I did the OTA method, which I don’t like doing for first betas.

Interesting, I OTA then reset all settings anyway.

I am guessing the new MacOS possibly has an iTunes update etc,. that is not compatible (yet)? Either that or the file is corrupt as you stated. There have been iTunes compatibility problems in the past with some betas and iOS restore.

Possibly, but the fact that the iPad version installed makes the corrupt case seem more likely. By the way, I tried Configurator before and after updating macOS, so the proper MobileDevice drivers are not to blame.
