iPhone Downloading files on an iPhone

I wanted to ask if is it safe to download files ie zip rar files from sites such as medifire Dropbox mega directly on your iPhone and unzip and use them?!
PS it's schdeni"s Iwidget jelly bean . I am away from my laptop for a few days .. It looks awesome i want it :D ..So wanted to ask if I could directly dl from iPhone unzip it and use?! IS IT SAFE?! Are there any chances of virus?! :apple:

I have downloaded from my iphone many times and i have never had a problem. There is a chance that you can get a virus but its apple, come on. You probably won't get a virus using an apple product. If it were an android phone it'd be a different story. You should be fine in my opinion.
 
I just want to absolutely safe.. So can I dl the file from MEDIAFIRE?! Anyways if its a virus iCleaner would take care if it! Won't it?!
 
it depends on the file, really. who's uploaded what. no way to know for sure unless you know its from a trusted source.
