I'm new to Mac OS and Macbook; I downloaded a demo program (123dig.com) but could not get it to launch. A setup.exe icon landed on my desktop and when I launched it, a message came up saying that there was no application associated with the file, and to choose an application. Not knowing what to pick, I went with Quick Time. I then tried launching again and got a message that the file is not a movie, so QT does not recognize it. I tried removing the demo by dropping it in the trash, but I think something still remains within the Macbook. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

exe a la windows

EXE executables are Windows applications. There is no way to run them in Mac OS X aside from Boot Camp on an Intel mac or Virtualization (read Parallels, VMWare etc).
