So I'm attempting to download the iPod Touch 2.2 software update, and it's 277.7 MB, over a not so fast Internet connection. Which means I've still got 12 hours left to go. I'm ok with that, as long as it's reliant. But it's not. The problem is that I didn't realize when three days ago that it has to be downloaded in one session, no stopping, pausing, or anything. When I shut my laptop it stopped, and lost everything it had downloaded. It's been frustrating me for the past few days.

So is this a fail on Apple's part? Why can't you stop and start without losing all the data?

 Definitely confused on this one...
