downloading/storing movies that are not from iTunes

Just wondering if there is anyway to get movies on the iPad witout using iTunes. I download from Limewire to my laptop - can they be transfered into iTunes and onto the iPad from there??

Only if they are in an itunes compatable format, which I've found alot of movies found on the internet are not. You can convert them to itunes compatable versions, but it takes awhile to convert movies.
