iPad Pro Downsides of recording video with iPad Pro instead of iPhone 12 Pro Max?

We have two A12 iPad Pros - 11 inch and 12 inch - and was thinking to use either to record video as the larger screen would be perfect for reading from a teleprompter overlay.

In settings the iPhone 12 Pro Max and both the iPad Pros have 6 quality settings and all max out at 4k 60fps.

Does this mean footage quality will be the same across all devices or is there more to it than this?

The camera of the iPads is known to be just serviceable. The camera of a pro iphone on the other hand is meant to be top of the line smartphone wise. Not just the lenses and hardware, but the post processing it does. Always use the iphone if you have the choice.

Would the output on say Youtube be much different if I recorded an indoors talking head piece from iPad Pro to iPhone 12 Pro Max? Would it be noticeable? Suppose I should set something up and try...

I don’t think it would be too dramatic, but yeah might be worth doing a little test
