I'm tempted by the smaller phone this time around, and would honestly get the mini in a heartbeat if it had the pro camera setup...but for anyone that's "downsized" I have two questions:
1. Did going to the smaller size feel like a minor jump or not much? Size comparisons don't do it much justice (esp. with the change in screen size this year). TBH the ProMax is ridiculously heavy for a phone (at least sometimes it feels that way).
2. In order to compare camera upgrades, would I just go based off of the improvements Apple lists for the 12Pro when comparing to the 11 Pro Max since the regular and max had the same setup?
I know that any move to the 12 is an improvement, camera wise, but if the smaller screen change isn't that substantial, I wouldn't want to forego the better setup of the Max for barely noticeable size differences. They're both large phones, but I'd prefer it if the tradeoff of the smaller size is worth the minor camera improvements, or if the smaller Pro is still big to handle, I'd probably keep the larger one and have the better camera setup.
Sorry...shiny new product conundrums.
