Quick question:

I want to drag and drop a file into a folder using Finder.

When I drag the file, the filename is highlighted in blue (see pic).

However, this prevents me from seeing the folder name! Not an issue when there is one folder, but it IS a problem if there are multiple folders and I can't see which one is the target!

Any solution? This is really annoying!

Thanks!

Look in Finder preferences for "spring loaded" folders. As you "plop" an item onto a destination folder it will open up waiting for you to release the item you are dragging.

Thanks for the reply! But since I can barely see the title of the folder, I don't know which folder I am going to spring into until it's too late, and the spring has already sprung :)

In fact, if you go into a spring loaded folder, and it is the wrong one, is there a way to go back one level to fix it?
