Drag and drop to save images from Safari

Okay this is probably a dumb question, but for some reason I can't always drag an image from Safari to the Finder/desktop to save? It works for one image, then it doesn't work after that. I do this all the time in SL, and I think Lion works too? Is there a preference I'm missing?

Sorry for gravedigging but i'm having the same problem and looks like there are no answers in other forum's threads. I don't understand why sometimes it stops working.

Anyone able to explain it?

What you are probably seeing is some sites run a Javascript that stops you from dragging photos off the page. You can usually get around it by turning off Javascript in your browser. I have also seen some extensions that do this for you.

Good point (and i'm sure many times it's like you say), but this also happened dragging from the same site... Like... I did something i shouldn't have done and then the drag ability was like disabled.
