Dragging images into dock apps

I used to be able to drag things from lets say safari or chrome (ie images) straight into Adobe Bridge or Adobe Photoshop icons in the dock. Now it doesn't work at all

This was my favorite feature of OS X

This and the broken CMD+SPACE to zoom in and out in photoshop is driving me insane! Makes me want to go back to Yosemite.

I've seen this thread but no solution. I sent feedback to apple hope its resolved in the final.

What version of Photoshop do you use?

Dragging an image from Safari on the Photoshop icon in the dock works fine on my rMBP with OS X 10.11. I have the latest version of Photoshop CC 2015.

CC2014 and 2015.

I did to a run of betas for El Capitan, though, so maybe a fresh install will fix it.
