Dragon Age 2 MBP 15" 2011?

On a new High End mbp 15" 2011 (2.3 SB i7, AMD 6750 1gb, 8gb RAM, 750GB HDD), you think I can run the game in OSX on high settings and get SMOOTH (30+) FPS? I don't care for resolution above 1440x900, and AA is fine without.

No. Unless your resolution is below 1280x800 you wont be able to run the game on those settings. I was pretty disappointed with the 6750 performance

what of bootcamp?

In Bootcamp you can run it on high at 1440x900 with 2x AA and 4x AF and get 30+ fps.

I'm running OSX DA2 @ 1440x900 with 4xAA and max settings with no problem. My specs match yours, but with the 2.2 CPU.

Wow. That's a completely different report! I'd rather believe you than the other fellow, but it seems like the MBP has mixed performances? By 'no problem' do you mean with framerates faster than the human eye, ie 25ish +? I'd rather take a minimum avg FPS of 35. in the 40s and 50's is great, and anything above is heaven.
