So we know that in order to get Warden's Keep and such you need to buy the Deluxe version rather than standard, since there is no in-game mechanism supported.

On the official site folks are already seeing that some public mods require 1.02, whereas we're at 1.01 on the Mac.

Just wanted to open a thread so we can track whatever we find out officially about when (and if) patches are coming, if and when we'll get the Return to Ostagar DLC, if and when we'll get the Awakening expansion, and so on.

I did ask over at Gamestreeonline.com and this is the reply I got:

"Thank you for taking the time to write to us with your questions.

Currently, the DLC that comes with the Deluxe Edition is available as separate purchases for other platforms, but not yet for Mac.

We are working with BioWare to confirm further DLC availability, so please stay tuned for news on that."

Looks like Awakening is coming . . . .

LEt's hope this means 1) other DLC like Ostagar will come and 2) patches to help performance

Ancient (by internet standards) news ... and the copy-n-paste ESRB listing doesn't equate to any sort of 'announcement'. IMO, *long* before any Mac version of Awakenings comes along we will at least need to hear something OFFICIAL about ... well, ANYTHING from EA / Bioware / Transgaming.

And since the last we heard was ... the initial game release, and since they don't even address the Mac version when talking about RtO anymore (they do still mention the still-delayed PS3 version) all I can assume is that the Mac Dragon Age is 'abandoned-ware' at this point ... sort of like happened with NWN2.

Mods for DA:O?

Hello!

This is my first time writing on a forum, and since this one is mac oriented I thought I'd start here.

I've searched everywhere, and maybe I haven't been looking in the right places, but have any of you heard anything about mods for the mac version of this game? I want some other hair options (I know, lame), and I can't seem to find any - at least for the mac.

Do mac mods even exist?

Please help!

Dragon Age for Mac is abandonware.

I am still waiting to hear from my editor on a repeated request for answers from Transgaming that he sent the other day ... but after two months of me trying to get anything on patches / DLC / expansions and hearing nothing ... as of now I would agree.

DAO Mods

Hi Aeres,
Here is a site lots of mods, including hair options. http://www.dragonagenexus.com/downloads/categories.php

This program will allow you to install the mods on a Mac.

I haven't had any issues with the installer or any of the mods I've tried out.
Enjoy

Any update on this?

I just got DAO for the Mac and can't get any version of the "Improved font and UI scaling" mod to work. Unfortunately I think even the oldest version of the mod requires at least DAO version 1.02. Mac version is still 1.01.

Great game but would be even better (for me) with that mod because the text is kind of small.
