OS X Dragon Age Origins no sound (SOLVED)

Purchased Dragon Age Origins from Gamersgate today and installed it all to the letter.

On opening the game I have music playing in the client where you can choose several options.

I choose ( Play ) and from there on in I have no sound at all.

Anybody else had this problem ?

EDIT : I have absolutely no idea what just happened, loaded the game one last time in frustration and the sound has decided to work, oh well at least its working now.

Hi, may I know which OS X version are you running Dragon Age with? I was wondering if it will work fine on 10.8.4 before buying it. I'm considering Dragon Age 2 as well.

I just picked up Dragon Age Origins Ultimate Edition at Amazon downloads for $4.99 (if that price affects your decision any to try it) and it worked fine for me on my Mac Mini 2012 i7 with Intel 4000HD running OSX 10.9.1 Mavericks (so I'd assume it would be fine in Mountain Lion as well). It runs smooth here at 1280x800 at ultra-high settings (without frame buffer). I did have to enable the DLC additions on Bioware's Social Network site as the installer gave an "internal error" when it tried to install them, but the activation code worked fine and once added with the Promo code feature on Bioware's Social Network site, everything is grand. I just updated to V1.05 and that seemed to go without a hitch as well. I already had the PC version when it first came out, but I haven't played much of the additional content added later including Awakenings.
