Found the Ultimate Edition on sale for what seems like a good price for everything it includes.

Question is, how does it run on the most recent Macbook Air 11" Ultimate? I know, dead horse type question, but I really can't find accurate answers for MBA 11 performance of this game! A couple posts on the internet say it runs great, while a couple of others say it creeps along. Which to believe?!

My MBA is 1.6 Intel Core 2 Duo, 4gb ram, Geforce 320m. I believe I meet the requirements. Please let me know if it is worth getting the game, or will it be a waste...

This really depends on your operating system. I believe that you should be able to pull off medium settings. Check this video:
Guy has a more powerful processor and GPU, however it's the same year, same Nvidia, and a dual core. DA:O is a great game and if you run it on windows, your hardware will give you a solid performance. I have my eyes on the same package as you do, and I'll be running it on W7 Professional.

Thanks K96. I'm on OSX 10.6.7. I know it's a bad version with performance hits from previous ones. But I wouldn't attempt on my own to retro-grade the OS, so I'll wait for the next one.

Still on the fence about this. Need more feedback.

Don't even try to play the game on OSX. Just don't. the 2011 Macbook Pro 15" with the AMD 6750m chokes at high settings and native resolution, which it handles admirably in bootcamp. It's probably around 4x faster in bootcamp, and don't shame your GPU and CPU in OSX. I don't even think the version you want is for OSX. The only way i think you can pull this off is through bootcamp and W7 or Windows XP. Then you should get a very, very doable performance with mediums settings. However it would be a good idea, like you suggest, to see if there are any with DIRECT EXPERIENCE.
