I bought Dragon Age Origins on Windows. I was wondering if there was anyway I could use my key with the Mac version and if so where I could download it?

If I was to guess unless Bioware also created the Mac version (vs port), such as Blizzard with its games, that the keys would be different, but just a guess.

Same keys.

The Mac version is just PC version running in cider, however you cannot obtain the mac version from the PC key. You can however copy the mac version from a friend and use your key and activate game and online features in game too. (this would be borderline illegal, depending on where you live I guess).

It's also possible to convert your PC version to mac version using a few files from the Mac version (like 25mb)

With Dragon Age 2, Mac and PC was on same DVD

Amazon are doing Dragon Age for 5 bucks at the moment (both mac and PC versions, 5 bucks EACH). If you already have the PC version, 5 bucks isn't much to get the Mac version.

I'm in the same boat as you and am going to get the Mac version that way - its just far less buggering around, and then i have 2 copies. :)

Amazon only sell to the US.

No good if you live anywhere else in the world - like I do.
