I need to take photos of my apartment that is absolutely empty (no furniture or kitchen draws etc only walls are there hehe) and on those pics I need to draw measurements so I can design later on the kitchen etc. is there an app that would allow me to place measurements (lengths, heights) on the photos i would take?

Yes, there is an app called "My Measures" and will do exactly what you want.
It is very good and there is Pro version as well with added functionality.
