Well, it happened yesterday at 5:40PM. My 17" MBP (Matte, 3GB, 160GB) was due to ship 11/14 and arrive 11/17 and now it won't ship until 11/17.
I ordered it on 10/30.
Here is a portion of the email from Apple:
To Our Valued Apple Customer:
Thank you for your recent order with the Apple Store online.
We are unable to ship your 17-inch MacBook Pro by the date given when you
placed the order. It is now expected to ship on or before 11/17/06. We
sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this delay may cause and we are
making every effort to ship this unit as soon as possible.
