Dreamweave link to Word or PowerPoint documents

I am using Dreamweave MX. I cannot get the links to work to a Word document or PowerPoint in the site folder. It works fine on a Windows PC.

It's a feature not available in the Mac version.

Do you mean provide an active link to a document or presentation on a site you are creating? The quick response you received leads me to believe something different.

Sorry, my response was in the context of importing the content of an Office document into the site folder which is not a Mac feature.
