Dreamweaver help?

I'm a novice, and I know many will say I should use iWeb, but I don't want to debate that, I have 2 questions.
1) Has anyone had any problems using dreamweaver 8 on a Mac Pro. When adding a flash button, when I choose target, the program sorta freezes. It keeps that dialog box up, if I press OK or Cancel the box just stays, so I have to force Quit.

2)using a HTML frameset, hyperlinks with target mainframe work, but flash buttons with target mainframe doesn't, It opens in a new window.

Any help would be appreciated

I don't work on an MP, so all I can do is refer you to the Adobe forum. Great bunch of people there and I'm sure that someone will have an answer for you. I work on a G4 and G5 and haven't had the problem, in DW, that you've described, yet frames can get quite awkward to work with.

You can also do a Google search for "Dreamweaver Forum", there are oodles of them out there.

Have you tried reinstalling DW by chance?
