I left my computer on with Dreamweaver mx 2004 running. This morning, Dreamweaver was froze. I've tried cleaning the preferences. I have reinstalled Dreamweaver, and nothing works. When I try to boot the app, I get nothing. I use forced quit. It says DW not responding. I've dumped the DW folder and reinstalled. It won't allow mw to empty trash: says runtime 6, runtime 1, etc., etc is running.

I'm using Mac OS 10.4.1.

How do I get a clean reinstall?

You can try opening Activity Monitor to see you can find these other processes and quit them out so you can trash the old DW.

reinstalling DW Studio MX 2004 on MAC 10.4.11

A follow up, more fundamental question: how does one reinstall Studio MX 2004 on Mac 10.4.11 - can one just manually delete the old files? I don't seem to be able to find the answer anywhere!

Thanks!
